According Report reaching JournaReporters has it that unknown gunmen are currently attacking “B’ division police station in Awka, Anambra State. A source said the unknown gunmen are shooting into the air currently, causing fear in the entire area as residents scamper for safety. ‘B’ division police station is situated directly opposite the Jerome Udoji Secretariat in Awka, a three massive buildings housing civil service in the state. National President of Miyetti Allah Kautal Hore, Abdullahi Bello Bodejo has dismissed the ban on open grazing declared recently by the Southern Governors Forum. He has also instructed Fulani herdsmen not to obey the directive but to keep grazing their cattle wherever they find themselves in all the states of the country.

Against reports from the Imo State Joint Task Force that one of the leaders of the Eastern Security Network ESN Mr Anayochukwu Nwokike aka Ikonso was killed during exchange of gunfire between the outfit and security operatives, elder brother to Ikonso, Mr Anulika Nwokike, has contended that his younger brother was killed in his house in the presence of his wife and three little children. This is contained in the Revised National Identity Policy for SIM Card Registration published by the Commission.
